Naomi Adams is a psychologist and Animal Assisted Therapist with over 20 years counselling experience, working with adolescents and adults through the lifespan.

Naomi's qualifications include Graduate Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology; Bachelor of Human Services (Social Welfare); and Cert IV Community Services – Alcohol & Other Drugs. Prior to commencing counselling roles, Naomi worked as a Youth Worker.

Along with generalist counselling roles, Naomi worked for several years in drug and alcohol counselling, as well as sexual assault counselling, and in the assessment and treatment of criminal offenders.

Naomi provides a collaborative and respectful approach, which is non-judgmental and empathetic, professional, and ethical. She works with a range of therapeutic models, suited to the individual client’s needs.

Naomi has a passion for Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) and where appropriate she likes to utilise her trained and registered therapy dogs (Molly and Darcy, both Border Collies) in her counselling work.

Naomi is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
